What a horrible first half.  We couldn’t pass the damn ball to save our lives.  They were quicker in every aspect and thus, won a whole bunch of balls.  Total domination in the first half.  The only thing that we did well as putting me back to sleep.

Strama made a few changes and we picked up our game a bit in after the break.  Another goal by Rodrigo Palacio.  In the 7 friendly matches, he has scored 3 goals and got himself 3 assists as well.  Keep it up.

  • http://www.facebook.com/Xahi4475 Xahi Xixa Armati

The strongest line up. Just Palacio would be instead Jonathan. :)

    • anonymous

WTH this is the strongest lineup? :D :D They can’t even organize ball from Handanovic position to midfields, unless by some Chivu long passes (to none)

      • Azzam

        Gaby solves this problem

  • tariq

where can i watch the match?

  • Budu

That was a terrible 1st half ! Absolutely terrible!!

  • interismo

I hope Hajduk is stronger than Celtic

    • lolol

      yes they are…
Inter will have a trouble with them, do not underestimating them or we will get a lot of trouble

  • Azzam

This livaja guy is good…we’re lucky..

  • Pazzo

Well that was absolutely terrible. I hope this isn’t a sign of whats to come. Though Livaja and surprisingly Mundigayi impressed

    • anonymous

I see Mudingayi performance is something like “Kharja-effect”, they’re not really good, just above average, but they have made good impression due to their higher passion compare to some old & out-of-date players. Cambiasso has finished, I think so.

      • yc

Sell Cambiasso!! Mudingayi better than him, cambiasso is defensive midfielder but he is too soft to winning the ball, mudingayi is our ball winning..

  • Dave

The substitutions were done very poorly. We didn’t start playing well until Mudingayi came on. Silvestre should play in the middle, Chivu should sit, and Jonathon should play fullback And where is Samuel?

    • kevinches

strama is to blame 4 this, n every friendly he is placing players out of position whereby weakening his attack and midfield

      • Mouman

Thinking about it, would it be the best time to players at their “unusual positions” at friendlies instead of real matches? Provided we don’t have full squad yet such as Samuel, Strama may be waiting for some new discoveries which, unfortunately, didn’t show up. Perhaps Gaby is a surprise already.

        • kevinches

As this is the team’s last friendly b4 d europa, i would of thought strama would of put out his best eleven in order get them game ready 4 d Europa match. from this display i truly see he does not know his startin eleven and he is only good on changin his formation when things are not goin the team’s way

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1069723346 Mahdi Viva Palestina Torabinej

and to think i stayed up to watch this…
horrible but for one or two plays. We’ve got some thinking to do before the season for sure, though this isn’t really the most accurate picture of what our abilities are, still…very poor.

  • kevinches

Strama obviously dont know his best eleven. inter looked much better with introduction of gaby and palacio. Otherwise they looked very poor. they better get it together b4 d league starts. The coach is to blame for this game as he did not setup his team right.

    • http://www.facebook.com/tpercent Ten Percent

      I agree with you 100%

  • ahmad

in some ways i believe that milito has to be sold. we need another central forward beside him. it is a huge mistake to keep counting on milito. well in this case, selling pazzini is very unwise. longo is good, but perhaps he’s not ready yet for big competition. loan him then. and palacio is our best purchase so far. i cant wait to see alvarez get back.

  • RobinsonRobban

Cambiasso need to lose a few kilos, he is a little fat right now. Chivi is just awfull as allwas, i don’t understand why Strama let him and Cambiasso play every game.
Strama needs to grow a pair and put them on the bench, it’s not okey to let them play all the time when they play so fucking bad….

    • http://www.facebook.com/tpercent Ten Percent

Point of correction…. Chivu was better than Silvestre this afternoon.. at least he gave some good passes here and there and even got a shot on target.. what else do you want from a a player of his age… NB he is not a natural CB as compared to the new guy(Silvestre)

    • Aballisround

Chivu played well this afternoon. It is time you guys get off Chivu’s back.

  • Inter01fan

Ok guys calm, yea we played horribly but we can take a few things from the game:

    1) Dont get angry at Strama already, its pre-season and he is playing with which player plays best where…he is not the problem.
    2) We need to get a vice Milito because if Milito starts of this season like the last (a few signs showing), we are going to need one.
    3) Palacio looks a decent buy
    4) Hopefully that one play between Sneijder, Milito, and Palacio is what we see more of (absolutely beautiful)
    5) We NEED to buy a fullback…NOW, either Debuchy or Sissoko for RB so Zanetti can play LB.
    6) Inter’s management is crazy for keeping Chivu…i still dont understand
    7) We need to buy Sahin…Cambiasso is not the same as he was…
    8) Strama should try playing with 2 strikers and see what happens
    9) Samuel needs to return to partner Silvestre at CB…but Ranno is improving slightly
    10) We have to hope that we see a better Inter on August 2nd in the Europa League

    • Στεφανος Τσουντας

We arleady got rb and lb haven’t you ALL notice that jonathan, nagatomo(are 2 fullbacks) are playing as wingers?!?!?!?!We need wingers not fullbacks!!!

    • Steven Heryanto

please keep in mind that maicon is still inter player

  • franco

mudingayi is just quality, maybe he can do what t.motta done, cum from a small club and prove the douters wrong, dont forget he was highly rated b4 when he was at bologna so im not surprised his only problem is that he’s 30.

  • pret

the worst has yet to come…

  • me_interista

I want Strama to make as many changes as possible and check as many possible ELEVEN before the actual games.

Why do you guys want Inter to play at a high tempo even in the pre-seasons without having acquired 100% match fitness? i know we are fans and we want to see our team destroy every other team even if it’s an exhibition match let alone a friendly.

But this is not the way it has to be. Look at the teams that are trying to play high tempo and super fast football? they got their player injured in the pre-season.

This is PRE-SEASON and it’s called PREPARATION ..Leave the coach and players in peace for God sake. we have seen worst coaches the last year. Even if Strama doesn’t start winning instantly i will still back him for the passion he has for this Inter side and onething is EVIDENT and that is STRAMA HAS MORE IDEAS THAN THE RANIERI + GASPIRINI .. i Like him, it’s his time to make mistakes and check his best playing Eleven. let him try and let the player try out their best in these games. let them make as many mistakes as possible so that they know they don’t have to make them in the REAL GAMES

    PEACE brothers

    • admin

Yes, this is the preparation, the pre-season, but the season is not so far, as we will play in Europa next few days. And this display is shit, both about tactical and player’s performance.

      • me_Interista

i agree to everything my fellow interistis i do agree that we played bad but my point is NOT to hit out at players or coach as no matter whatever u do in pre-season remains a pre-season. you have the chance to do different things.

remember last year Man-City was shit in pre-season so was Man-United but Man-city won. Bayren Munich ( if u follow football and other clubs ) were bad in pre-season with so many injuries.

Question here is NOT to question the motives of a coach or a player or a team based on pre-season. A coach is bound to experiment till the last day of pre-season. I’m sure Strama knows this all. he is now expereinced enough to know what to do in a full season and what not to do.

I wish my black n blue all the best and i would love to have Strama as our legend coach like SAF

        • cyclone99

Yap I agree with you at some point but I think if a coach want to play high tempo then he should try in a Pre Season so he will learn from the bad events that happens in a match. But I totaly agree with you that we shouldnt put the preassure on players or coach as they both need to adapt to a new systeam/style of playing

  • http://www.facebook.com/michelkupelian Michel Kupelian

people relax!! we tied one friendly and won every other game this pre season.. its ok.. strama will reflect on this and we will see next game.. believe in out team!

  • dhegozav

if inter wants serious compete these 2012 season, as a history’s root
    we need fantastista player…
we need a destructor,..player who can gain half of field by himself
now i hope lucas is seriously hunt by moratti, like his interest in ronaldo, vieri n recoba
inter always filled by phenomenom player instead coach [Mourinho]….ibra, ronaldo, mourinho were true example !
    n now…i hope lucas !

  • http://twitter.com/NimoCheebs Nimo

GABY TALKS THE TALK AND WALKS THE WALK.. thats what i take from this game… i will remain silent about everything/everybody else.. i hope we get more players, we will need it

  • Martin

Am i the only one who is not worried? I’m preety sure that Hajduk had scouts sent to watch this game, so stramaccioni is not stupid to show all his cards right now. The second half wasn’t bad at all, and third players were not giving 100% to prevent injuries. We are also missing some players like Alvarez, Obi who can come off the bench and change a game, samuel was not playing also so i don’t see why most of you are concerned. I had to say that Rannochia surprised, he is way better than Chivu, so i think Rannochia- Samuel or Silvestre should start next season.

    • lolo

since when obi is a game changer for Inter? seriously dude, even with Alvarez, Obi or samuel Inter will be always struggling with Strama’s offensive mindset. He should have learned lessons from Mourinho’s or Herrera’s Inter tactics who had won everything at that year. Defensive and quick counter attack will always be the heart of legendary inter. Strama should have learned about that and build more balanced and discipline team before it’s too late..

      • http://twitter.com/aldyfu iamsuperman

disagree with you. inter did play counter attack, but inter possessed more than a counter-attacking team. under mourinho, we were strongest at the back, effective in the middle, and deadly up front. but it was under MOURINHO. now, we are under STRAMA. I believe in him.

        • internesia

Well that tactic and strategy won us treble winner. Mourinho was the last coach to reveal Inter’s strength. I’m agree with you, we were strongest at the back, quick in the middle and deadly up front. But still the winning idea was solid at the back line as core principle. Without a balanced team, it will be a disaster and useless. Check at Gasperini’s and Leonardo’s tactic, you will understand what the differences between Inter as a losers and Mourinho/Herrera’s as grande Inters. So why should we try to reinvent the winning ideas if we had already known? Strama is a good coach, no doubt about that. But the squad is just like a shit this year. I won’t blame Strama for this, simply because he didn’t get players that he asked for. The problem is our management, they still don’t know what and how to do to build a new Inter. For years we have bought so many players that won’t fit with our team.

      • Martin

Obi was the only player last season that played well every time he went on the field and he is a fighter, no loose ball for him, just no way. SEcond, Strama can’t play like Mourinho becouse Milito is not 30 anymore, Sneijder and Maicon are older and not in the same form, Cambiasso is fat right now, but most importatnly ther is no eto with his ability do score on his own. He was playing as a winger and he was fast and together with Pandev they run the counter atack to perfection alongside Sneijder and Milito. So don’t say strama should use same tactics without the same players. That was something that Benitez should have done.

    • http://www.facebook.com/tpercent Ten Percent

I think you’ve said it all.. bravo! :D

  • internesia

Sometime we should have followed the past winning ideas without reinventing the winning ideas. That’s the importance of historical stories from legendary Grande Inter that ever raised in the history of football.

If stramaccioni is really an intelligent coach soon he will realize that he shouldn’t have tried to build the offensive team with Inter squad. It will not suit with our team because It is not in our blood and DNA..

I’m so afraid that Stramaccioni and this year Inter will fail miserably with the offensive idea without laying a good foundation in the back line. Guys, do you still remember the day when we possessed the most deadly offensive players that ever seen being formed in inter team? Remember when we had offensive monsters like Vieri, Ronaldo, Zamorano, Crespo, Recoba, Baggio, Jugovic, Djorkaef but then we won nothing at that time.

While few years ago, Inter won treble simply because Mourinho had successfully identified the winning way for inter was by forming stellar catenaccio defensive style with quick lightning counter attack right at the heart. That is the winning way how we won so many achievements in the previous years with Grande Inter. No one will survive against the Might Barca with their monstrous Messi and ibra at 2010, except our legendary Grande Inter’s Mourinho. So why do we have to try to reinvent the winning ideas for Inter? Just copy it from previous Grande Inters..

Want some proves? Watch youtube videos about legendary Inter’s Mourinho 2010 and Herrera’s Inter 1964-1965, and then you will understand what’s the difference between this year Inter with that legendary Inters. I’ve identified three important keys for Inter’s success for years. The success formula for Inter is Triple D:

    Discipline, Determination, Defense

All legendary Inters (Herrera’s and Mourinho’s Inter) possessed all these components thus why we completely become the unbreakable forces at that time. Even monstrous offensive teams like

How about this year Inter? sorry for saying the truth but this year Inter is one of the worst Inter that I’ve ever seen for years.. and that’s killing me to realize this shit happened to my beloved inter.

    • InterFin

Have a little faith dude. This year is going to be the first of this new Inter. When you build something new you gotta have patience. Strama seems like the best man for job right now. Every player is behind him. And I don’t see this Inter playing as bad they did under Gasperini. So please try to stay positive. Being a true Inter fan is all about ups and downs. We’we had a couple of downs so now it’s going to be ups! Even though we don’t win serie a. FORZA INTER!

      • internesia

Gasperini failed miserably when he wanted to build the new inter with more attacking mindset, still remember? I didn’t point Strama as main problem in inter, since there are many problems that you can watch from our pre-season matches. I know it’s just pre-season games, better prepare for the worst thing that could happen in the future than just doing the same thing over and over again. I’m always staying positive with our Inter. absolutely no doubt about that if i were not a true inter fans I wouldn’t have written that long shit in this blog. I just want to remind all of us that Inter should remembered the history, how we played like a real men when we won treble few years ago, and you will get the idea and the difference with this year Inter. Forza inter

the problem on the right wing not on fullback. if we get the player then we are complete to go for scudetto. i hope we sign lucas or gaston ramirez.

  • Martin

Little off topic. Can anyone tell me what is going on with Bessa? i mean he is not training with the first team, nor he is sent on loan, he can’t play for primavera cuz he is 93′. is he injured or something?
