Despite rumors that Sao Paulo are making a move for him in the Lucas deal, Philippe Coutinho continues training camp in Pinzolo calmly and showing that he is always improving day after day:
“I am happy that I got a goal yesterday, the team played well and is improving. We hope to have a good season and continue to improve. I am very happy to be here at Inter. It was important to go to Espanyol but I want to win and grow here. The seniors here have always helped me, they always make us, the young players, feel very important.”
A few words on his countryman Lucas, a transfer target of Inter.
“Lucas is a phenomenon, very good player and I hope to play with him here because he could be a great help during the season. I do not know him personally but he is really a good player. Who has impressed me the most in training camp? Zanetti impresses me a lot, he is truly a great.”
