Lucio To Sign Two-Year Deal With Juventus

Incredible but true.  Juventus are just a step away to sign Lucio for their defense.  Confirmation coming from Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky who says that “the deal will be done.”  “The operation is already in the pipeline and it can be done in the upcoming days.  Lucio will sign a two-year contract worth about 2.2 million per season plus bonus that tied to other objectives.”

Meanwhile Inter will save about 14 million euros thanks to this contract termination, the money can be reinvested for Matias Destro.

        I think its possible if you terminate a contract to insert a clause that the contract will be terminated only if the following are agreed to and in that they could have stated no italian team. I’m pretty sure the lawyers of Inter could have thought this out better

        Lucio and his agent wanted money from Inter to go for free to another team, as an goodbye gift. Yes you read that right… They wanted money on top of asking Inter to do them a favour to release him.
