Transfer Market Meeting – New Name For The Midfield: Fernando

There was a meeting today between Massimo Moratti, Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio regarding our transfer market strategies.  Coming out from it is a new name, sort of: Fernando of Porto.  The Brazilian midfielder was linked with us at one point in the past but now according to Sky, he, among with Mudingayi and Paulinho, could be a solution for next season.

    Inter should go for Capoue for the defensive mid spot and Cissokho for our left back position. Instead of Silvestre get Musacchio(his team is relegated maybe 6 million) and Astori on a free. Let Coutinho play on the left side up top and pick up a winger, Nani would be a great option. If we sell Maicon-10 million, Pazzo-11 million, Mariga-5 million, Castaignos-6 million, Forlan-2 million, and Cesar-13 million, we’d have enough for Nani. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Sneijder take off for the EPL, he deserves CL football and we can’t give it to him.

    Fernando is a good player and if we are able to get him cheaply, I say go for it. @ neroblue: We don’t have the money for Capoue or even Cissokho yet, so it’s unlikely well go for them.. Quality players though.
    We need a right winger. We already have Ricky whom I think will be better and better + Coutinho can play there too. And for gods sake let Juan play. great d!

    Too many rumours. But no idea.

    Why we have to bought a DM (even an average but ‘perfect’ Mudingayi)? Is it a sign for a 3-man plan in centre of midfield, because now we have 4 centre midfields: Cambiasso, Guarin, Poli, Stankovic and no sign that one of them will leave.

    I’ve no idea about Inter transfer strategy.

    Fernando or Paulinho, we don’t need a 30 year old in defence! Cissokho or Kolarov for left back and Silvestre/Rolin or Mussachio/Rolin for defence, with Destro/Milito and Coutinho/ Sneijder behind them!

    Why do we keep going after midfielders, we have Guarin, i say if anything, sign a backup creative midfielder, because we have to start using Coutinho, i dont get why none of the Inter staff have got that yet…hopefully Strama see’s it. But yea, we should be focusing on getting young and promising defenders before anything, while also selling a bunch, which i do agree with Moratti, sell and then buy! Forza Inter!!!
