A soap opera.  Mattia Destro remains the center of this summer transfer window and despite the recent developments, Inter have no intention to see him slipping away.  After Siena picking up their option of acquiring half of the Italian striker, president Massimo Moratti met the number on of Genoa Enrico Preziosi once again in Milan.  A meeting to have updates on the situation, but more probably to study the right strategy in order to remove the competition from Juve and Roma.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter want to push and speed up time for this deal: “The week of Inter closes exactly the way that it was open, with Mattia Destro.  Massimo Moratti is, in fact, replicating the earlier days of this week with yet another meeting with the Rossoblu boss Enrico Preziosi: at around 2:30 pm local time, they both once again sat down face-to-face one another.  On the table there are no more Kucka and Longo, situations already defined, so there is only Mattia Destro to talk about.  The U-21 striker is an objective of Inter: Moratti accelerates and tries to push.”

At around 4:00 pm, Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio arrived as well as Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca.  And so we continue…
