“We like Mattia Destro and we will evaluate the price after the latest developments.”  The words from Marco Branca are an important signal and not casual.  Because just revealed by Sky, Inter have established contacts with Siena: inquires to bring this thing forward because there has been a moral pact with Genoa for quite some time.  This contact shows that Inter are not letting go of Destro and have their eyes fixed on the player.  For Siena, however, this is the moment of calmness and want to evaluate all situations.  Inter and Genoa are on the move, Juve and Roma are behind but ready to strike again.  The Destro intrigue continues…

This is becoming a little boring now… Like the Lavezzi saga was. I think we should start a plan B because if this bidding war starts, we wont get Destro under 20 million. That price is too damn high, we could buy Jovetic from that money instead of him. And we have Milito, Longo, and Pazzini (I would keep him, Milito’s 10-11 season was awful too, but this year he was great, maybe Pazzo will find his “goal shooting shoes” next year) for centre forwards. Strama likes 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 so what we need is a good winger, not centre. Jovetic would be good there.

    Attack:
    Coutinho-Milito-Jovetic
    Sneijder

    Subs:
    Longo-Pazzini-Palacio
    Alvarez

This would be perfectly fine. 2 players for one pos.

+ Players from the primavera if it’s not enough.

If Destro costs too much, it’s our fault for letting him go in the first place. Jovetic is a good option or even Afellay is good as well. The point is we play too thin, we desperately need width!
