In today’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport, Marco Materazzi touches up on many different topics including the transfer market, one that was described by Massimo Moratti as “wise.”
“The president wanted to say that the transfer market will be well thought out in terms of the budget and on the technical level, acquiring the players that function well with what Stramaccioni has in mind. I see that two wing players like Palacio and one other will come.”
Then he also talks about the fireworks between Juve and Inter on the transfer market and in the middle there is Andrea Ranocchia.
“Andrea is like a brother and I know well the text messages sent by Conte. Evidently, the Bianconeri said certain things because they were afraid of losing Giovinco, one that in fact, they paid dearly. And I don’t think that they spent some figures just to spite Inter. Although I have had some disagreement with him in the past but Conte remains the best coach in Italy. The absolute best? He trains in Madrid… Stramaccioni? He knows that I respect him but praising him after just nine games is not good for him first and foremost.”
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, a role in management for Marco Materazzi will be defined. The former World Champion will be a scout for Inter under the orders of a new head scout in Valentino Angeloni.
